About The Hotel

After many years under the management of the well the Brennan Brothers, Francis and John, the Victorian mansion that is the 5 Star Park Hotel in Kenmare was sold to US based Irish businessman and entrepreneur, Bryan Meehan and his wife Tara, with Bryan’s brother, the charming Mark, as Customer Relations Manager.

Set in an idyllic spot overlooking Kenmare, the Park is a very special place indeed, immaculately furnished and brimming with class and style. Close to some of the world’s best golf courses, and offering a superb spa and swimming pool, it’s the perfect place for some indulgent relaxation. Did I mention their 12 seat cinema showing the classics on a nightly basis?

Each of the 46 rooms at The park is brimming with elegance, being individually and lovingly designed to incorporate their modern luxuries with the hotel’s original features. If you want to push the boat out, so to speak, check out their Deluxe Rooms or even their splendiferous suites. However, there is no such thing as a bad room at the park, with each of their guestrooms featuring high quality linens, 100% goose down pillows, Bamford toiletries, comfy sitting areas, multi-channel flat screen tv’s, a twice daily housekeeping service and more.

The cuisine at the fabulous Park Hotel in Kenmare is second to none, and the mantle of Head Chef at their Landline Restaurant is now worn by James O’Sullivan, a young man from Gougane Barra, who spent three years at Derry Clarke’s erstwhile L’Ecrivain, before transforming the cuisine here and making it a true dining destination. I love the fact that the menu is a la carte with prices that aren't off the wall for fine dining in a top notch location.

Abounding in luxury and elegance, with food and fun to match, you can't go wrong with a stay at Kenmare's fabulous Park Hotel.
