About The Hotel

A true oasis of luxury and style, the InterContinental Dublin in Dublin's prestigious D4 Embassy belt, is one of the very best hotels that Ireland has to offer. Formerly the Four Seasons,It has always been at the heart of Dublin social life and buzz, and of course the destination for visiting celebrities. Among the facilities in its 5-Star repertoire there’s a spa, swimming pool and gym; two ballrooms, six meeting rooms and five different choices for wining and dining including their atmospheric Whiskey Bar and their fabulous Seasons Restaurant, where, as the name suggests, the menu changes seasonally as their top class kitchen team strive to use the best seasonal Irish produce.

With their classic uniformed doorman, complete with top hat, welcoming you, even before you enter you know that it’s going to be a special place. From top to bottom the décor at the InterContinental Dublin screams 5-Star. It’s modern and fresh throughout, but retains the classic elegance of old, from beautiful chandeliers, plush leather furniture and finer touches, to the art on the walls, the curtains and lavish floral displays.

As you might expect of 5-Star lodgings, rooms at the InterContinental comes with all the lavish extras, with fantastic views over Dublin’s skyline, as well as their own beautifully landscaped gardens. Besides from being spacious and thoroughly luxurious in its décor, a deluxe room here features a king sized bed with duck down duvet and mattress topper, satellite TV with CD and DVD player, a deep soak bath and separate power shower, bathrobe, slippers, mini bar, WiFi, and access to the health club and gym. If you really want to push the boat out, they offer executive rooms and suites with extras like in-room Nespresso machines, marble bathrooms, safes and even larger quarters, some of which include separate living room areas. At the top end, their bespoke Presidential Suite even includes a separate kitchen & dining area, three balconies, a walk in wardrobe and the option to inter connect to make a three-bedroom suite with its own private entrance. Once you’ve gotten over your 5-Star bedroom, you might venture down to their health club and gym to get a work out on their state of the art equipment, which includes a wide variety of cardio and weights machines, or for a dip in their 14m pool before enjoying a Jacuzzi, sauna or steam. If its pampering you’re in the mood for, never fear; the spa at the Intercontinental offers luxurious massages, as well as skin and body care options like an ESPA personalized facial, a salt & oil scrub or an invigorating foot treatment.

Once you’ve worn yourself out at the health club and spa you’re going to be hungry, and, with a number of food and drink options at the InterContinental, there’s plenty to choose from. Their Seasons restaurant is fantastic and absolutely lives up to the 5-Star location it inhabits. You can read more about Seasons on the restaurant side of my site. But, if it’s a casual bite you’re after, then the lobby lounge is for you. Elegant and very comfortable, they do great food all day from morning pastries & breakfast, to light bites, sandwiches and superfood salads, all the way up to main courses and sides. For a drink or two, before, after or instead of dinner, there are two great bars to choose from at InterContinental; The Ice Bar, which is bright and modern with an all white panelled interior and a fab backlit white marble bar, a perfect spot to meet for cocktails, or the Whiskey Bar, a classic, refined surrounding with a cosy atmosphere as well as the worlds largest collection of Irish whiskey to wet your whistle.

If you're looking for somewhere truly special then see and be seen at the fabulous 5-Star InterContinental Dublin.
