Paris may be known as the city of love, and I’m a sucker for French food, the accent and attitude, that certain je ne sais quoi, but we can’t all jet off at the drop of the proverbial hat to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Why not instead cast your imagination there by taking a stroll with your amour around our beautiful capital, creating your own Franco/Irish experience, ending in one of our many fab French restaurants.

Think of the Spire as our Eiffel Tower (we need to finally accept it); O’Connell Street, the widest street in Europe, as our Champs-Élysées; the River Liffey as the Seine; Christchurch Cathedral as Notre-Dame de Paris; the National Gallery as the Louvre and The Fusiliers’ Arch as the Arc de Triomphe. Take in the Georgian doors of our incredible Fitzwilliam, Merrion and Parnell Squares.
