Bakestone has brought a whole new verve and food experience to the center. This is a place where you know you are going to get really good scrumptious homemade food from breakfast right through lunch and late afternoon. It is really good local and seasonal Irish produce used to best advantage and also given a contemporary eclectic twist. It has become a destination where friends meet up for breakfast, lunch, brunch and afternoon tea – there is always a buzz and atmosphere as friends share food, the chat and the joys of what they have just bought!
The smell of freshly baked scones is hard to beat at the best of times, add some beautiful homemade jams and the best of coffee and you’re set up for the morning. You can of course have the best Irish breakfast or delicious poached eggs. Personally I love the rich luscious Bakestone Benedict or the Mexican eggs with refried beans and chilli sauce.
