Our Latest Great Place to Eat - 37 Dawson Street

If you want to rub shoulders with the cool and happening people of Dublin, well 37 Dawson Street is where it is at. This is an amazing bar, which is better than any club and where the movers and shakers hang out. The décor is quite brilliant, it is like a fantasy world, a movie set, from a glass case of teddybears, to stags heads on the walls, from a whiskey lounge to a French Chateaux style restaurant. It is brilliant. And, on top of all of that, the food is excellent.
We went in one Sunday morning en famille for Brunch, which they do at weekends, and of course kicked off with cocktails from the ‘Hair of the Cat’ selection - a Mimosa and a Garibaldi – which is Campari and orange juice – one of my favourite drinks. Bayveen kicked off with organic Irish Flahavan’s porridge with Kilbeggan Whiskey infused honey and pouring cream, and continued on with delicious French toast with stewed apple and cinnamon. The ‘boys’ both had the No. 37 Carnivore which was ace, served on a big board, with free range eggs, Ulster farls, smoked back bacon, sausages, Putog pudding, roast....
