Burren Slow Food Festival 2011 May 20th to 22nd, Lisdoonvarna
The 2011 Burren Slow Food Festival will be held from the 20th to the 22nd of May. The entrance fee is just €5. You won't want to miss the great line up of speakers, vendors and demonstrations. There's plenty for children to participate in too. You'll find a detailed programme on the events page.
The daily entrance fee to the Pavilion grounds is only €5 for over 18s. This gives you access to all events at the Pavilion all day and entry to a raffle for some great foodie spot prizes! Under 18s go FREE!

- Annual Slow Food Gala Dinner:
- Will be held on Saturday evening at the Roadford House in Doolin by Frankie & Marion Sheedy. Price €50. Book directly with Roadford House, 065 7075050 and You should book early to avoid disappointment! Welcome drink of Kir Royal at 19.00.

"Local Food, Local Jobs - How Food is Key to Sustaining Your Economy"
In these times of economic turmoil, we’ve decided to shed the negativity and give you a positive story about our economy. We’ve invited a group of experts to share their views through a panel discussion on what is happening in food in Ireland and how our food will play a major part in the recovery and growth of our economy. The discussion will then be thrown open to the floor to get your views. The event is open to all visitors to the festival and attendance is included in your admission fee. However space is limited, so please take your place early!
