Restaurant Review - China Sichuan
Wednesday 05 June 2024
It’s quite incredible to think of the breadth of multicultural cuisines available to us now in Ireland. From Afghani, African and Argentinian food, through Caribbean, Korean, Lebanese, Nepalese and Filipino to Pakistani, Spanish and Vietnamese. Take a walk down Camden, Capel, Moore or Parnell Street and the world is your oyster when it comes to dining.
It wasn’t always so, and for many growing up, the first taste of exotic food was Chinese, Indian or Italian, courtesy of adventurous chefs who had left their homelands for a very different Ireland of the day. However, even with all the ‘new’ cuisines available now, most of us still love Chinese, Indian and Italian food.
