Restaurant Review - The Station House Hotel

February heralds the season of romance and it’s also the time of year when I get itchy feet to be on the road and off around the country again.
Indeed, I started slightly earlier this year, having been in Galway last week as a member of the judging academy for the Hotel & Catering Gold Medal Awards 2022, which saw suave hoteliers assembled in their best bib and tucker for a gala dinner in the fab Galmont Hotel. The InterContinental Hotel Dublin took the best five-star hotel award, with Adare Manor being best five-star resort. The family-owned Flynn Hotel Collection won best hotel group; their stunning and legendary Imperial Hotel Cork was named the overall Gold Medal Awards Supreme Winner.
