Restaurant Review - Osteria Lucio
Friday 07 May 2021
Restaurants are still dependent on you wheeling up, grabbing their latest food boxes and retreating to your cave to enjoy the spoils. Consequently, a year on, the competition between boxes is much stronger, as we have become more discerning and critical as to whether they’re good value, or ‘all fur coat and no knickers’.
Most of the restaurant boxes I’ve had were terrific. A couple were fairly average, and another was so fiddly-dee and pretentiously twee that it ended up in my Siamese cats rather than in me — and nor could I write about the fried egg sambo I fell back on that night.
