Right on your doorstep, you’ll find great shopping, restaurants and bars, and, from the moment you arrive at this classic family-owned hotel, it’s clear why it is so popular. Great care has gone into making it a plush and luxurious place without sacrificing its old-world charm.
Each of the 94 guest rooms at the International are stylishly appointed and really a pleasure to stay in. Their classic rooms offer flat 32” screen TV’s with satellite TV and radio, room safes, hospitality tray, ironing facilities, ‘Natural sleep’ pillow top mattresses’ and thoroughly comfortable Egyptian cotton bed linen, as well as en suites with heated towel rails and de-mister mirrors. Stepping up a bit, their superior rooms offer all of the above but with more space and some fun extra perks such as a magnified make-up mirror, shaving unit and best of all a Jacuzzi bath to help bubble the blues away. If you really want to go for broke, check out their Executive rooms, tipping the scales even further with luxury King Koil Club-Class luxury beds, Jacuzzi, power shower, air-conditioning, ‘night assist’ 24-hour bathroom lighting, bedside LED lighting for reading and of course the rooms themselves are to die for.
When it comes to food and drink at the International, you’re spoiled for choice. The Brasserie is the perfect place for a morning or afternoon cup of coffee and a scone, whilst Hannigan’s Bar & Restaurant is ideal for both a quiet drink or an excellent meal in a relaxed stylish atmosphere. For candlelit elegance with twinkling chandeliers above, then book a table at their Brewery Restaurant and enjoy some top-notch contemporary cuisine.
For the leisure lovers out there, there are some great distractions to be enjoyed. Their gymnasium offers a range of strength training and cardio equipment, along with a deluxe infra-red sauna, or for some lazier leisure, check out their snooker room or their 3D golf simulator.
